Pritam’s journey in dance began at the young age of seven in his hometown, Durgapur, West Bengal. From the very beginning, dance was not merely an activity for him. It became a powerful form of expression, confidence and joy.
In 2006, Pritam moved to Kolkata with his family after his parent’s job transfer created an opportunity for a better future. Although the city changed, his passion for dance remained constant. He continued practising, learning and performing with remarkable dedication.
Over the years, Pritam has showcased his talent at several prestigious venues across Kolkata, including Sisir Mancha, Rabindra Sadan, Netaji Indoor Stadium, Okakura Bhavan in Salt Lake, Mohit Mancha, and many other respected cultural platforms.
A memorable chapter in his journey has been his association with renowned fashion designer Dr. Shantunu Guhathakurta. One of Pritam’s proudest achievements came on 19 April 2026, when he secured the position of First Runner-Up at an event held at Middleton Chamber, Kolkata, alongside Dr. Shantunu Guhathakurta.
